This is just heartbreaking. So very sad to hear the loss of his cats. I pray his wife pulls through.

Thanks everyone! Will let you know how you can help and I'm sure John and Trish appreciate all of your posts...it is an unspeakable tragedy...I do not really know what to say...I was in communication with john earlier and offered any help/assistance/support and I know that goes for all of us...we are like family here...each and every one of us...

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that John Popp has had a tragedy - his house burned down last night and all of his cats were killed. His wife was not expected to make it, but seems to be holding her own now.
Please say a prayer for John and Trish and his babies who all perished in the fireIt is such a sad, sad day...I always worry about this...be sure to give all your babies and humans lots of hugs and kisses tonight and always...life is very short and we should try not to take it for granted...famous last words, I know, but it is times like these that make me sit back and reevaluate my own life...
This is devastating and horrific news. I cannot imagine how one weathers such an unexpected and devastating loss.
To John, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of his cherished companions. Please know that we are sending you healing thoughts and prayers for Trish. May she recover completely and rapidly. Be kind to yourself and lean on those around you for strength.
