So Cute... I do not see how you can hold such a precious kitten and then a couple months down the road send them to their forever home... I guess that is why I would make a very bad breeder.. I could never let them go...
Look around this site! I have the very best owners and the other breeders here also have the very best owners! We simply grow our family as our kittens go home! I love it. I love seeing the love and hearing the joy from the new homes. Yes, I miss my babies-- but I raise them with the knowledge that they will eventually go out and spread joy into the world. Much like I raise my own children. They all can't stay here forever <3

Maybe poor Mojo was angry because he was hurting? I was talking to Bronwyn and she was so very upset her vet missed that hairline fracture-- and she said his personality did change after he fell from the cat walk :( Why? We can surmise he was hurting :'(

Easy to say until you hold FIVE in your hands. LOL. Then what? Do you keep all five? Do you keep Mom, Dad, and all five?

I know it's hard to believe, but the joy we get from our new homes is amplified each and every year. Their joy is a blessing to us and to share the love we have-- heck, my little Hara Rose made Brittney Gobble-- a Sphynx and Lykoi breeder/enthusiast into a Savannah addict! Every time someone falls deeply in love with this breed due to one of our babies--- my heart just grows.

And let's face it-- if we weren't letting any of our little ones go, ya'll wouldn't have kittens ;) Or you would-- from crappy breeders (hahahaha-- sorry, sorry!)

I personally really appreciate it... I had a mother cat once that I got to watch have a litter of 8..... I did not want to get rid of them as I was very very young at the time, I think I kept one that I named "Yellow" who was obviously a yellow tabby... I think we gave the rest away.. (Mom and Dad's Choice)... I appreciate all of the Breeders who supply us with such fantastic kittens... I know for one that Elsa and Jake are number one in my book.

It's hard, but I think when you breed- each kitten has a special place in your heart. So it gets tricky because you honesty cannot keep them all. I thought about keeping Forest last litter-- I thought about keeping Chad (Zyon here) and Darling... Only reason I didn't consider keeping Elmo was his Dad picked him out as a wee baby and Travis and Mikey as well. But for health reasons and for sanity reasons, one truly can have only SO many kitties!

I remember Forest and as you know I was very interested in him, but was not and am not currently in that position financially... I have not heard much about Forest... I had a special feeling for him... I hope he got a good loving home that can do a good job of taking care of him. Last I heard he had recovered from his twisty leg, how about an update on him as to how he is doing with all 4 of his paws...

He's normal, John-- and his momma is onsite although she rarely posts here.

He lives with his F2 sister, Monkey (our Ariel here), and she is teaching him the mighty ways of being a naughty Savannah warrior! Here are some of her momma's pics... (I beileve the threesome is Fletch, Monkey and Maverick-- ie Forest) and then Maverick on his own being a cute monster.
