He's normal, John-- and his momma is onsite although she rarely posts here.

He lives with his F2 sister, Monkey (our Ariel here), and she is teaching him the mighty ways of being a naughty Savannah warrior! Here are some of her momma's pics... (I beileve the threesome is Fletch, Monkey and Maverick-- ie Forest) and then Maverick on his own being a cute monster.

I so glad that he is fully recovered... By looking at him you cannot tell even which one it is even knowing which one a head of time... An answer to prayer... I am certainly glad he found a good home with other Savannahs and is doing so well... Thanks for the update... It would appear the only lasting effects are the memory of it, and I imagine (and hope) that he has forgotten about the whole thing as well.

The thing with animals is-- they don't worry about things. He wasn't stressed out or upset about his legs being all twisty-crazy. For him-- he was who he was and he didn't let that stop him. He managed just fine and on top of that, he got a little extra loving and extra treats too (I was making sure his weight stayed up with the others since I was worried he would be pushed aside too easily.) Just like my one-eyed old man who passed away this year-- Forest didn't let his differences upset him or stop him from what he wanted to do. He just did it.

Animals are amazingly resilient and wonderful. Mankind could learn sooo very many different lessons from them if we just opened our eyes and took it all in.

You are exactly right, and yes, we all could learn a lot just by watching our pets.. they can teach us much if we let them.
