This was also cute. these people are lucky to have such easy going cats that seem down for anything. they must have started from day one with getting the cat used to walking/lounging in the backpack lol.

When Leonard used to hike with Gallagher he always took a backpack with him, and when Gallagher got tired he would just climb up in the backpack and ride the rest of the way.

personally I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a cat for 6 months on the trail. Especially through New England lots of mountains and bouldering up there.,my heart would break if they were to slip and fall. No thank you. But i like the ideas of having a cat walking me around the trails near my house. It doesn't look like ill be hitting the trail this year. I talked it over with my boyfriend. He thinks section hiking is a smarter option. so no having to quit my job to leave for months on end. Just take off for two weeks at a time and enjoy it. No rushing. thank goodness I got that talk out of the way. Taxes filed and all is well. Woo weight off my shoulders
