So... This is a toned down version of the rant I accidentally posted and then deleted earlier. And it has been edited since I originally posted it, to remove repetitive rambling and some irrelevant personal philosophical opinions.
I have been watching the advertisements posted by the person I got Moggie from, trying to figure out who my kitten’s Mom is.
The person I got my kitten from has over the past 6 months had several advertisements all for f7 snow Savannah kittens on a well known online advertising venue. All the ads show the same picture of 2 spotted adult snow cats and various kittens that are always color point.
The various litters are said to have been born on

April 2nd 2017,
And now there is a new ad for f7 snow Savannah kittens that were presumably born in mid May to June as the ad says they will be available in mid August. Except the ad is mostly copied from an earlier ad and still says the kittens are born Feb 12th and shows pictures of the same kittens that were said to be born Feb 12th.
And there is one ad with picture of 8 week old kittens & the same 2 adult cats and this ad says the cats birth date is April 9th, 2002, and the cats age as 15 years.
I am guessing my kitten’s mom is probably the adult female color pointed spotted cat that is pictured in this person’s advertisements. My kitten was supposedly born Feb 12th, and the adult cats shown in this ad are explicitly said to be the parents of 2 advertised snow savannah kittens who were also born on Feb 12th, same day as my Moggie and his 3 moggie non snow siblings. And both Moggie and this Mom have strong horizontal stripes on the side of the face, small but distinct spots on the side just above the front armpit and generally similar markings and build, except Moggie is not color point. I would post the picture of the adult cats, but I am not sure the etiquette of reposting pictures belonging to someone else.
Anyways.. I began wondering why their cats seem to only have kittens on dates with 2 in them? That seems to be a peculiar coincidence. Do all their cats actually give birth on the 2nd, 12th or 22nd of the month, or is the actual date of birth rounded up or down to the nearest day with a 2 in it? Making me wonder if my kitten even born Feb. 12th?
And why do all the advertisements showing the parents of their kittens show the same picture of the same 2 cats when they obviously would have to have more than 2 parents to produce all the kittens born on the dates shown?
While I was there picking up my kitten I saw 2 snow kittens that look like the kittens they advertise, and a very large male and female snow/pointed cats with spots. As I knew nothing about Savannah's I exclaimed in surprise "Oh his Mom is Siamese!" Thinking OMG his mom is a giant Siamese with spots! I was told the female who had just walked into the room was not Moggies Mom. I was told Moggies mom was "out". But the lack of pictures in the ads showing what must be more than 2 parents is not because they do not have impressive cats they could photograph.
The price in large font for all the kittens is always the same odd number that is well over $1000, but none of the numbers are 0s. However when you read the smaller print of the ads they actually are only asking $250 - $500 for a kitten and in the case of my kitten that was not advertised as being part Savannah, there was the same odd number, but reading the ad they were only asking $25 a kitten.
If I had not gone to the house and met the cats myself, seen happy healthy kittens, and if I did not have a very healthy kitten that was obviously raised with love, the peculiarities in these advertisements would make me feel suspicious and inclined to look elsewhere. A few months ago I was almost tricked into making arrangements to go pick up a Russian Blue cross kitten that the person did not even have -I discovered the pictures were stolen from a website in the UK and were several years old! But I know that is not the case in this situation, and something else is going on.
Why advertise in a way that - to my way of thinking- would probably make a lot of potential adopters/customers suspicious? Why not show the actual parents of the different litters of kittens?
And was my kitten even born Feb 12 or is that just the next day with a 2 in it?????
Why have the large print price in an ad show a price that is 3 to 5 times what they actually ask for the kittens if people read the fine print?
Anyways. Last night trying to make sense of this, I googled the person's name and snow savannah, hoping to find more about their cattery, and although I did not find out anything concrete about Moggies lineage, I did find where the person I got him from is interested in a lot of conspiracy theories.
I guess some people’s way of thinking and priorities will just never make sense to me. But it is nice when someone who thinks different than I do raises really lovely lovable kittens. Sort of a universal common ground. Even if my kitten may have come with pre installed super secret conspiracy/ anti conspiracy spy ware... ha ha yeah.. Moggie may be an android.
Totally explains why my kitten follows me everywhere watching my every move. (I am joking)
