Never mind, I found it as TranquiVed used in cats. It frequently causes vomiting, perhaps they think she aspirated and this is what caused her problems, that would all tie into the treatment she received

That is exactly what started it all... aspirated was the term I could not come up with.

When u google it, it will show u how to open the coconuts . Also Always use glass when handling the water, never plastic containers. It will help her in so many ways.

Thoughts and prayers still coming your way. I'm assuming they still have an IV bag attached to keep her hydrated as that's what looks to be the path to her recovery. Hopefully her sight returns soon as with severe dehydration blindness is oft temporary.

The coconut water is paramount in hydrating!!

They now sell coconut water in packaged form (and in Los Angeles it is all the rage). Does it work as well or does it need to be directly from a green coconut?

Yes, and she was getting very vocal... And I consider that good... Even though her eyes looks good, she still cannot see. Vision is intermittent.

Glad to see Elsa is home and recovering. I'm sure in time her vision will improve as her cranial swelling subsides.

I hope both of you have a good nights' rest. I also hope Jake is doing ok with the stress of his buddy being gone and now back but not quite up to speed. She is definitely going to stay in my prayers until we know that she completely over this challenge.
