I hope both of you have a good nights' rest. I also hope Jake is doing ok with the stress of his buddy being gone and now back but not quite up to speed. She is definitely going to stay in my prayers until we know that she completely over this challenge.

Jake knows something is wrong, and is concerned for Elsa... You can see how he goes around her and pays extra Gentle attention...

Good night all.. I am just about ready to fall asleep...

I am so sorry to her about Elsa but I am thrilled to read the update that she is doing so well! I never would have thought that those little packets would be so dangerous. I will go do a sweep of my closet now!

I've been following Elsa's progress all day... I wished I could have given her some loving seeing her in the carrier on her way home. Poor baby. Still praying for the sweet darling. Glad to see she's made good progress. She's one tough cookie!

They now sell coconut water in packaged form (and in Los Angeles it is all the rage). Does it work as well or does it need to be directly from a green coconut?
Directly from the coconut but if your not able to get it then it would be ok provided it does not contain sugar and the only ingredient is natural coconut water. Most coconut water if it is not from its NATURAL SOURCE BEING IN THE COCONUT, have been processed in some manner. Plus from the coconut it is fresher.

The coconut is actually white, and is a strange shape due to shipping cost by weight it is shaved/ cut down due to weight and cost to ship.

Sorry. By "green", I meant an unripe coconut and was not referring to the color. Yes, definitely look for the coconut that is white and not brown in color.

Awww, poor baby - she looked like she was perking up even during the short trip home... probably being back with you and knowing she was going home was great medicine for her.

I'm not sure what kind of milk you are offering her - cow's milk is not too good for cats, goat's milk is okay, but what would be best if you want to offer her milk is kitty milk replacer - in other words, baby kitten formula.
