Morning Update on Elsa.
Much better... Last night she would barely lick water and milk from my finger... She did use the litter box last night, but not this morning. When we went to bed, she did not want to sleep in her carrier (vets recommendations) so I let her out and she came straight up on my chest and slept for about an hour and 1/2. After that she wanted to move around, so I put her back in her carrier where she slept well for the rest of the night. She woke me up around 6:30 and this morning, she did not want me to take her out of her cage and I found out the reason was that she wanted to come out on her own. She then immediately went to steal water from my glass. I gave her some water and she drank a fair amount, and ate about 2 tablespoons of dry food and 1.45 ounce of wet food (usually eats 2 ounces)... Big improvement, My biggest concerns right now is her weight and vision. She can see intermittently and the vet is confident it will return to normal. 2nd her weight. She is down 1.8 ounces from 1 week ago, and lost over 8 ounces since Wednesday. At her rate of growth, I hope she can recover the weight that she needs to keep up. Going to talk to the vet about that this morning. Getting ready to take her to the vet in a few minutes with some updates. Overall much more positive this morning that last night... She is getting much closer to the end of the woods that she was, but still not completely out.
