Last update on Elsa.. She is home, and if she already was not scheduled for the vet he said no reason to see her.. The Doctor has given her a clean bill of health... Where the IV Catheter was installed there is some slight bruising... Until this is completely healed and the fur starts to grow back, I am suspending the Walking Jacket Training... Just does not seem right for some reason.

Back home to watch TV.. Laying on a heated throw... She is quite comfortable and her self.​

I agree, just cuddle watching TV and don't worry about things like walking jacket training. She's had a hard couple days and deserves some R&R (and so do you!)

I have not sent in her paperwork yet for TICA registration (been lazy)... that is a great idea... I was thinking of putting Miracle in her name somewhere....

I don't care what other people think, but when someone goes through what she went through all at the same time and then is declared healthy 3 Days later after Aspiration, Cardiac Arrest, Seizure, Pulmonary Edema... that is nothing more in my book than a Modern Day Miracle that we have just witnessed...

At the vets office she is nick named "Miracle Kitty". All the doctors are saying that she should not have survived much less come out of it this quick with no side effects (other than lost .5 lb weight or 14% of her total body weight). Vet says she will get that back pretty quick, and several on here has said they expect the same...

Her morning food was lower than normal, but she ate in the afternoon (unusal for her). She has not yet had dinner... Coming up in just a few minutes... Will find out how much of her 2.0 measured ounces of wet food she eats tonight.

Kittens generally bounce back fast...but as you say she has been through a huge ordeal so it might take her a bit to recover. I agree with the Miracle Kitty label, she's a fighter!
