Congrats on your lil darling. Once you have the date set time sure does drag. But I found little projects to prepare were a good solution I made my own scratcher it's not beautiful it's cardboard I stacked and cut into a post. Sure it was time consuming sure I ran through 4 bottles of glue but it was worth it to me. I also think I will be making my own perch later with shelf pieces fence post carpet and rope. if I had more time I would have made it already. I love arts and crafts. =] keep us posted on any new pictures!! Which breeder did you choose?

I went with Spotlight Savannahs. They've been great! I get weekly photo updates, so it helps feel like I already know my new baby!

Before I chose my little guy I looked at spotlight myself. Very nice kittens. Actually I believe they are on this forum . the last few weeks have been so lonnnng just got my lil guy today. The folks on here helped me with my decision and put up with all my silly questions haha. seriously feel free to ask anything I'm sure someone will have multiple answers! So relieved! it feels like Christmas. You spend so long waiting to open your present. Not sure what to expect. but then you finally get to unwrap it and for better or worse it is exactly what you wanted and you can never stop playing. in my case I just got to unwrap a new best friend =]

That is the best feeling in the world! My son has already decided that he and Schrodinger are going to be the best of friends... it is so adorable! And I've had so much fun watching the excitement he has when going to petsmart or browsing amazon for stuff he wants us to buy for our new baby!

Oh oh could I see your cardboard post you made? Never knew how expensive cardboard cat scratchers are. Just bought 4 to make a fun scratcher center for kitty. And when I see daily how much she LOVES LOVES it I forget about the cost! Thanks
