Deborah, thank you for this thread. It has been enlightening in a number of ways from behavior to food to toys to humorous antics/videos and beautiful photos. I think I now have a much better idea of what to expect when we get our F2 boy.

I have read this thread from start to finish (though I confess it was over a week) as well as the threads/downloads regarding feeding, toys, Savannah Proofing, Aclimating Your SV, and Introducing Cats.

I still have a couple of questions (some specifically for you) below...when you have a few spare minutes!

Food:
I have read through the food threads but have these questions. Do you buy your meat ground, grind it yourself (and if so, what grinder do you use), or feed whole? Do you still primarily source from rodent.pro and Hare Today (besides what you get locally)? Any other primary sources you would recommend?

I have seen the whole/chunked chicken you feed in the photos/video in the thread and read that you also give Mazuri supplements. Are the supplements without bone or with bone (assuming the latter as you are feeding bone). Do you give any other supplements/food besides the freeze dried meat and organ treats and goats milk at night?

Enrichment:
You do a great job with enrichment (as my daughter who is in Vet school and has been working with African wild cats for the past two summers in South Africa calls keeping them physically and emotionally stimulated). Your setup is really amazing. You have a 'big cat tree,' the trunk of which is becoming a tight fit for Atticus, that is very unusual and in many of your photos (ripple top bed). Do you recall where you got it? I have never seen another like it anywhere.

You have tried a number of cat tunnels. What is your/their favorite?

Are there any other toys besides Da bird (and other wand toys), the ripple rug, roller ball toys, and cardboard boxes that keep them occupied or you would recommend?

I have not seen an exercise wheel in any of your posts (though I have read about them on this site), which I have to admit surprises me a little. I'm curious as to whether you have tried one or considered it.

Other Advice:
Is there any other advice besides food, toys, preparedness, a ton of patience, and the topics/downloads I have mentioned above that I should be considering as a first time Savannah owner? My breeder has been very good about answering my questions but please give any advice you can think of. I realize every cat is different and I am truly looking forward to bringing my little (for now) guy home.
