if you all have used them they really must be great. I was looking at hers. They look durable and cute. Perhaps I could waterproof them with kiwi spray if I needed to. and it is a cat we are talking about not a dog so perhaps the Velcro is a better option than I had thought. thanks

I would hate to see it get muddy and eventually break down the fabric. also having to wash it everytime. water resistant always seems to last longer at my house

:p Let me put it to you this way... at 4 months old, Rafiki weighed 4 lbs 12-1/2 oz. At 13 months, she weighs 10 lbs 9-1/2 oz. She is an F3C. When we visited her at 8 weeks old, her brother was already significantly larger. I am pretty sure that your little guy will continue to grow!

Neta makes jackets out of windbreaker material as well as leatherette - I've got both and if they get dirty it's easy to just wipe them down.

I didn't see windbreaker material someone else mentioned it. I bet that would work but the cotton look so cute! ill decide once I get him , the breeder is taking measurements for me so I can have an idea what size to look for

I have yet to have one of the Joykatz ones get dirty enough that it had to be washed. Some of the others stretched or had weak spots that wore out. Oh, there was one time when Duma didn't realize there was water between him and the ducks in the pond, but he hasn't made that mistake again (and I doubt he ever will hehe), and even so, the jacket got a little wet, not dirty. I've never had a muddy one, ever, over 3 years of leash walking cats.
