Thank you. She gets spayed on Friday the 22nd and I will be a basket case of nerves thinking about her that day wondering if she's ok or not. But then last night when I was trying to sleep, I thought of myself going to the airport to get her and I know it's going to be a great day.
I know your excitement! Since CC has been gone, I haven't gotten to bed before 4 a.m. The anticipation is overwhelming! Triton will be home in about 14 hours, but who's counting? :roflmao: Can't wait to see photos of your little darling when she finally arrives! :)

Did you go get new toys and everything for Triton? Are you counting the hours til CC gets home? Saturday, I am going to Petsmart for a few things for her but next Friday is her spay date and I will be very, very nervous for her that day. Fortunately, it's one of our busiest days at work so hopefully, my mind will be a little preoccupied. Oh and she will be photographed from the time she lands at Newark Airport so I will post photos. I'm trying to picture what she'll be like and how it will be to finally be a Savannah parent.

I'm so happy for you! It's great to have more Savannah parents here in Morris County!

CC bought a few toys when he was in Arizona and I picked up a few more things tonight. I've been counting the hours for days now! :roflmao: Just got off the phone with the hubby. He's in Akron now...just 35 or so miles to go! How old is Whiskey? How much longer do you have to wait for her? Unfortunately, I have to go back to work tomorrow. The only good thing, is that I work afternoons, and don't go in until 4 p.m. I'll have most of the day to spend with Triton. I still have to get my Manx, Shady fixed before we get Triton in. This will be our first male cat and I'm sure he'll be fine. Cleo was quiet for the first couple of days. Sure was funny to see that shaved belly! I'm anxious about getting Shady spayed, but I trust our vet. He did a wonderful job with Cleo. His clinic is real close to home too, so we could be there in a matter of minutes if need be. I'm really looking forward to the photos of Whiskey! I'm sure I'll be flooding this board with Triton over the next few days! tri big grin: Members will probably say, "Oh, no...not another one!"

Whiskey is 3 years old. And she gets spayed next Friday the 22nd so I don't know how long after that she'll be able to fly. And the place she's getting spayed at keeps them overnight so that is good. You have to be really happy about Triton. Male cats are easier getting fixed than females are. But Whiskey is my first Savannah so I'm so excited and not only will I post pictures here of her but my cube at work will be covered with them too.

I am doing my best to educate my little corner of the county about the breed. I've already been in my local Petsmart talking about the Savannah because I want a scratching post and I was talking to the poor sales person all about the breed. They were so happy for me when I told them I was getting one.

You're truly a proud mama! I'm thrilled about Triton! He's beautiful! Can't wait for him to come out of the corner, eat, drink, and use his litter box. Sure wish I would have taken the day off work. It's going to take some strong coffee to get me through this one. CC doesn't have to be back until Friday, lucky him! The good thing, is that we work opposite shifts, so someone will always be here. Hang in there, kiddo, your time is coming!

Glad to hear that things are going well with Triton. I will be so happy to finally get Whiskey but in the mean time, I'm educating my co workers about the Savannah breed. And Whiskey will be so loved from the first time I lay eyes on her.

Yeah, all of my coworkers are VERY interested in, and excited about my kitty as well!

That is great about your co workers. I that the more people who speak like we do about the breed, the better it is.
