I have these organic wool balls the cats love. A little smaller than tennis balls, and easier to bite and carry for fetch. I have a kong kick toy that is played with in spurts, wand toys are quite popular and have to be hidden otherwise they are thrown around and someone's eye is going to get poked out! The popular toy du jour is this goofy banana catnip thing my 2 year old insisted we buy for Nyah. Guess that baby knows her cat toys because they both "kill" it regularly.
Kovu likes anything the dogs are playing with...he goes up to them, growls, snatches it and runs. It is pathetic. I can't buy regular stuffed cat toys as Kovu destroys them in minutes, so dog toys are actually a better bet for him. Oh, and they love this tube toy that was actually bought for my 2 year old but was promptly seized by the cats and has become their fort. They tried with her tent as well, but she said no, all 3 share it! You could go unconventional and just use human children toys, as you see here, my 2 year old just incorporates Kovu into her playing. They each have a purse, which makes sense for a male kitten, right? That is a mirror she has, I guess they were touching up their lipstick.
