Tinkerbell was from a litter of 7. The litter was named after the 7 dwarfs, but the breeder could not remember which one she was. We came up with Tinkerbell since she flies through the air as she leaps and jumps. Sue

I try to pick Swahili names that are descriptive, e.g., Jasiri - brave or courageous; Adia Kuka Mola - gift from God; Lela Samawati - night princess, etc.

Sure do: naming him Amaury. That name doesn't really mean anything. That way Shango still thinks he's special!

My stud cat, Silver Bullet, earned his name as a kitten. He would careen through the house at breakneck speed, often sliding into walls or cabinets. He still likes to run--hence the name Silver Bullet.
My new F6 boy is named Magic Man because of the "spell" he has cast over Xena, my F2 girl. I was riding in my car one day and I heard the song "Magic Man" playing on the radio. I laughed and said that reminds me of Xena and how crazy she is over this new boy. I swear if he ran away from home she would go with him. Hence the name "Magic Man".

I named mine Oakley after the sunglasses. LOL. Although I have never owned a pair of expensive sunglasses like that because I always to sit on them or get broken some how. Plus I just like the name!
