Urinating furries can be well, let's just say, shooting urine into the face of predators is one of a chinn's defense mechanisms. Surprised the heck out of Sampson. lmao.

Some times I feel bad can't give the sister chinn's more time, but got them a huge multi level habitat and a great running saucer, they truly enjoy their home. They keep each other entertained and play with the cats when I do let them out.

Silus used to spray even though he was fixed. The first time he sprayed me it caught me off guard. Was confused something warm jut splashed on my leg and foot. Upon further examination he sprayed probably because I had just finished cleaning his cage.. And I cleaned it far too well. Brena would pee on the floor and then Loki would pee on random things in the house. There was so much pee! Lol and so much vinegar to wash with. Now I just have Loki pee to clean up... Even thought we figured out the problem a long time ago. He's too lazy to bury anything and refuses to use a "used" litter box. The only time there is an accident is when Adam is too lazy to clean the litter boxes out in the rest of the house. There are 6 total. So when it happens it's his own fault not the cats. Bad human! But I really do miss them. I'm going to stop by and see them this week. It's been rough I make my rounds when I get home from work I say hello to everyone and I still find myself walking over to where their cage was and tearing up a bit. And dice that's what multiples are for entertainment they keep themselves busy then great!! Fortunately chinchillas are small enough to get more room outta less space. An extra large dog crate was barely enough for my two bunnies.
They needed an entire rooms worth to stretch out and binky about
