I had two bunnies too and I know whatcha mean. A Flemmish giant and mini lop. Boy they can be a handful when you have two needy cats as well.

What happened to the buns?

I felt like a bad mommy and ended up rehoming them. I had allergies to them and tried to just get by taking allergy pills.( I still was having resperatory issues and diagnosed with chronic bronchitis because of it-turns out the bronchitis went away when they left) that was a small part of it the big part was the fact that the female shed so much that it required so much work the female would pee over the edge of the cage so matter which cage I had or which litter box and they wouldn't play much if the cats were out so I had to do play shifts. I found less and less time to give them to play and felt their quality of live wasn't as good as it was. I had silus bonded to her and didn't want to split them up. Long story short-ish It was too much work for me to give them as much attention as I wanted to give them. And to keep up with everything between them all. I bit off more than I could chew it took me 6 months to finally bite the bullet but I found a home for them where they are the only pets and get constant attention and I felt it was in their best interest to be rehomed. I really didn't want to give them up but I felt like I was being selfish holding onto them for them to not get more than an hour or two out of the cage. Some days less than that. I still feel really bad about it but I had to do what was best for them. The good news is it is a friend of mine as I can go see them whenever I like.

Ok I'm stuck I have $82 on a Walmart gift card from returning the defective cat tree and a tree that turned out to be too small. I have two I am stumped at. I'll take a vote. Opinions? Favorites?

We just brought home three new cat trees (from Amazon though.)

One thing that I've always told people the kitties love are the oval like hammocks (they aren't hammocks, but the kitties cuddle into them like hammocks.) You can see it on the middle section of this tree...

Ahh that sucks But its great that you can still see them and play with them. It sounds like you did what was best for everone

I almost got that exact tree trish! Haha how do you like them? How sturdy? I am going I be getting a second tree as the little beasts Christmas gift for the livingroom. They don't mind scratching only in my room but I figure they would love something fun out there too.

And Kristen it was and is still tough they've only been gone a month and I really miss having them around but they seem so happy in their new home. For the first time Brena the lop has started getting better with her aim I think because she has her own bedroom to share with silus away from everyone else. And they have become even more outgoing. It took me a lot of time and patience to socialize both of them but they began to slide backwards on their socialization and didn't want to interact with anyone but themselves. They've made even more progress than I had at my house perhaps the lack of other animals helps both on strange noises and smells and territorial smells. They don't have to compete for who's territory anymore. Brena is very particular about things and since she seems happy they both seem happy

I've always liked the Armakat brand and like this tree it could always be a little more steady with savannahs, but I don't think we'll have any issues. The kittens already have claimed it as theirs

I'm sorry you had to rehome the buns but it sounds like you made the tough choice and did the selfless thing that was best for them.
