Which one will it be..... Choosing the cat tree

Ah.....just found it....the Kitty Mansion one does not have a frame. The support is only those cardboard tubes. I think your cats will kill it even quicker than the last one!

When I was looking for cat trees, I looked for the following:
Large base - about 1/2 the height dimension for sturdiness
Wood or Manufactured wood construction
Large platforms that can accomodate both cats because Rafiki won't leave Jammu alone
Bottom heavy - no large things up on top so the center of gravity remains low

All of my trees definitely rock when they are hit but all have survived after >1-1/2 years and none have toppled.

I picked up one from petsmart online, and have been really happy with it.

has a large foot print, and 19 lb Sampson can go at it and tree barely wiggles. Spot loves to hide in the condo unit, thinks I can't find her there.

We have some plywood and spare carpet so I'm going to make an extended base for it and anchor to wall a bit. Also I beleive reinforcing the posts with twine (wrapping each post to a linked piece of twine at the top middle and near bottom) will also help if there is any wobble. I was looking at this one and another one and Loki put his paws on this one when I asked him. not sure if coincexence but good enough for me

That looks like an excellent choice, if you have it in a corner, it should be pretty stable. Think a single wall anchor into the corner will be more than sufficient, unless you have and f1 or 2, that is.:)

My space for the tree was very dimensionally challenging, needed to still be able to open the patio door, high as possible, and still be able to walk around the bed.
