Why does my cat wait to poop until I come home?

I have only fed Rafiki Stella and Chewy's Chick Chick Chicken 4 or 5 times now (Jammu wont eat it). She devours it but seems lethargic or sleepy afterwards. Last night I only fed her a 1/4 cup to go along with her raw and she took a nap afterwards. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mine got some last night and were playing fools after. Zidi does not really like it much. She picks at it, so I seldom give it to her.

Their bodies are quite a bit like ours, Eddie does this and Eddie is used to eating after me...hence TIMING. Stop eating on the couch,lol.

Well my boy Sampson, does like to do his duty when I get home, just to show me he is doing it in a box and not squatting on the carpet. So always thank him, then flush the smelly one down the toilet so can enjoy me meal.

All my cats tend to join me when I'm doing my duty too, so thinking it's like a Pride thing, the pride that chits together, loves one another, or something like that.

My domestic, on the other hand, prefers to go outside, rather than in the box, which is fine by me, on less poop to scoop and all that rot.!! :D

Hahaha that's makes plenty of sense.,what is their fascination with us using the bathroom? Loki and pooty open my bathroom door when I'm in there... And just as creepy (sorry if it's tmi) but Loki does the creeper face and rubs himself in my underwear .. Well at least try's (the creeper face is what I call it when a cat sniffs something he likes and opens his mouth to better smell it ), pooty just stares at me. A guess a family that shares cares....

I like to call it warm tummy syndrome otherwise known as the "Itis" my boys both get it after a particularly tasty meal

I think I have tried every raw food out there... Mine loved darwin for a while and then stopped eating it. I started making my own and that works sometimes... Felines pride is out of upstate NY and works as well... Ixas and Cinny love beef and I buy beef chunks, cut them up and feed... Their very favorites though are chicks and quail... They also eat Stella and chewy and Weruva... I cut out feeding them pro plan and no more smelly poops...

I'll have to check them out since I am in western ny. Would love something already prepared to mix things up a bit. And with it being so close i have more faith that it'll be more fresh.

Also any ideas of how to fatten him up a bit? Loki had gotten worms from the raw I wormed him about a month ago and he's gained a little weight back ( he went from 16lbs down to 9.5 lbs. given before he was a tad on the chunky side he seemed his healthiest at 14.5lbs. Just weighed him earlier and in the past month he's gotten to 11.3 lbs which is good but I would really like to see him gain another 2 1/2 - 3lbs.

Wow, that was alot of weight lost! We use Revolution monthly, marked on the calender...no worries, no worms, no fleas...just give him treats...he'll pick it back up but definitely get him on a dewormer/deflea since PEOPLE can bring fleas in from outside as well as worms...

I'm using advantage II, the neighbors had a flea infestation and I got fleas because of them (not even 3 days after I finished worming them) , I had treated for fleas before that not a medication but gave baths with lemon joy dish soap and apple cider vinegar. Loki didn't really have any signs of fleas (perhaps because he has short fur) but my mid hair bengal had them enough that I could find some traces of them in his fur just above his tail. Thank goodness I have hardwood floors throughout. My cats sleep in bed with me neither me nor my bf got bitten. But the neighbors had bites all over their legs arms and ankles. I was so mad. since then I've kept them on medication I'm on the second month and I even gave my extra dose to them both months. I wormed twice last month and I am debating worming again this month just to be safe. I used panacur c. Since the first incident I am still in the habit once a week of cleaning the house top to bottom and spraying for fleas, plus vacuum treatment with a flea collar in the vaccum bag to kill them. So those little stinkers better not find a way back. Mean while I'm trying to find a fattening snack for Loki to help him put the weight back on.. This is tough to do because he's been so active since the worming he's burning all his calories. My kitties are back to their cracked out selves again (both happy and amused by this hehe)
