Yay! Loki will be here Friday..now what

I just set up the litterbox put out the food bowls and mat. And boiled some water for the cat for when he gets here.:. And so I can make some tea of course. My filter just cracked on me. Rearranged a few things using a baby gate to block the plugs in my room there is a cluster of them I can't hide anywhere so I baracaded it. While doing so I swiftly bumped my eye into the corner of the end table.... I think I may have given myself a black eye guys.. Ouchie

Ouchie! I felt so stupid the other day, I clunked my lip with the handset of a phone - I mean, how does a person do that not on purpose?! Anyway, I gave myself a fat lip, and it still hurts today so I can commiserate with your black eye...

On the other hand, it sounds like everything is falling into place for Loki to come home... in two days!!!!

Good luck with the baby gate working... I find it slows a kitten down from racing through a doorway but not blocks their access..

Sorry about the eye injury (and your fat lip, Patti)... I definitely tend to do things like that when I am distracted trying to do too many things at once.

The baby gate is one of those octagon ones I use it for the buns when I'm pre occupied and don't feel like babysitting their every move (they find was to chew through plastic electric covers ) I unfold the gate to block the archway into my living room. I took it unfolded and slid between the end table and my wall and then secured with a box I have my kettle weights in so it's right against the wall. I don't think Loki will be contained by a baby gate lol. but between the covers on loose wires and the main plug being covered with the gate I think it will work.
And yes! Brigette I always seem to get clumsy when I'm doing too much at once lol. plus my peripheral depth perception apparently is squat
