I doubt there will ever come a time when I don't shed a tear at Ziggy's peace and contentment. I'm so happy that he and Jax are friends and that Oni has warmed up to him too.

We had Oni and Ziggy on leash out by our Koi/goldfish pond and the two of them sniffed each other, with no grumbles or growls. Oni will often sniff and then growl, but not this time. And she now occasionally initiates play, sometimes actually chasing Ziggy!

The two of them will often sleep with us, and the jockeying for position can be contentious at times, but more and more they come to a peaceful resolution where both of them stay with us.

They really are doing well. Ziggy can still be sharp with Carolyn, even striking out on occasion. So, we're still working on their relationship.

While the cat wheel might not be the best one available, Jax regularly goes for a run, and Ziggy is also starting to use it on his own. Today Ziggy was going one direction and then stopped. Jax hopped on going the other way, and they both ended up on their hind feet back to back. Wish I'd been able to get a picture.

Been there as well - so cute when they try to run against each other, but hasn't happened often enough for me to capture it as a digital memory!
