Today I went out and bought the Dr's kitty attract and am changing 2 of the boxes out. I will quarantine them in my bedroom, connected to the bathroom where their litter box is (giant one that will have kitty attract in it). In addition, if there any accidents, I ordered the Anti Icky Poo cleaner from Amazon! Everyone, thank you very much for the replies.

Bridget
- no covers on the litter boxes
- no other pets in the house
- yeah, agree, the tub probably resembled it, didn't think of that
- yes, 100% aim is LETS USE THE LITTERBOX BOYS!

- Did you boy use the kitty attract and was his peeing problem corrected then?
Changing the type of litter boxes and using Cat Attract litter worked for him.

Great ideas. Litter is in place, one pooped, the other one just couldn't believe what it was and played with it!! Tomorrow when we leave for work, the door will be closed,

Does anyone have an opinion, should I put in 2 giant litter boxes or just the one?

Anytime there are peeing issue, MORE is better. My boy that had the issues still don’t poop in the box if anyone has peed in it, including his OWN pee....

If you can afford a LItterRobot, I recommended it. It's possible that for some reason, the cats have associated the boxes with something negative particularly if they don't like the pine pellets. They may associate their dislike of the litter with the box. If using a different litter doesn't work, perhaps changing the type of litter box used will work.
Thank you for the suggestion!

Hello, I wanted to report in, we are 5 days in, they are in one room with 2 giant litter boxes, food and water, meowing their heads off, but NO PEEING outside of the litter box...nothing in bathtub, sink, throw rugs, closet with shoes!!! I am so hopeful. Fingers crossed and I'll report back in in another week thank you everyone! :)

Hello Everyone,
Today is day 13 of the cats quarantined. Yesterday, day 12, I took the plastic tiny bin holding all the bags I use to put poop in (from the grocery store) and put it on the floor next to me. As I was on my knees cleaning the one giant box, the kitty jumping into that small box with the plastic garbage bags and PEED.:(

I decided that it looked too much like a miniature litter box and gave him a 'hall pass', although terribly disappointed. We have had NO other accidents. Then this morning, apparently I forgot to spray citrus in the tub last night, I do this 2X daily, to deter them, and I woke up to someone PEEEED in the bathtub.

Does anyone have any suggestions??
