Akila not gaining weight

They did a smear and she does have a bacterial ear infection. Got ear drops which I am telling you are no fun to put in and she is actually playing a little bit today!!!! She has also been eating pretty well today!!! Yay

I bet that would make her finicky, hopefully that clears up with her ears! So glad you found a cause, and I also hope that your vet takes your comments/complaints more seriously in the future! Worming again was probably a good idea, as some take more than one treatment to break the life cycle. Eat, Akila, eat!

I agree eat,eat,eat!!! LOL.....I think after her blood work come back it is probably time to find a new vet!!! I brought up her ears more then 3 weeks ago!!!

Also I am putting boiled chicken on top of her food to entice her to eat more!!!

I chose our vet based on reviews, I read so many, lol. They were right, the desk staff are totally rude, but the docs are very kind and knowledgeable. Be persistent no matter what vet you ultimately wind up with, you know your cat, they don't.

Hi David.....she is actually doing fantastic!!! After they put her on the ear drops she has been eating and playing. She has gained 1 lb in 6 days. she has her spay appt. on Monday and they will do another ear smear to make sure the infection is cleared up. I still think she is going to be a petite girl though.
