Am I My Savannah's Pillow?

Hmmm....I know that my breeder moves the mom into their bedroom right before giving birth. The kittens sleep in a pile on the bed with them.

Patience MM3. It may take a few years. I once took in a feral kitten at around 12 weeks. Was four years before that cat would sleep on the foot of the bed.
It's rather an interesting twist on this subject. Many mornings I get up around 4 am to have MY TIME in my art studio. The minute kitty hears me she joins me! She has a bed in the art studio ( she has a bed in almost every room in the house) so sometimes she'll jump up to her bed but sometimes she will sit right in front if me and talk to me. I have a big sweater that I wear and leave in the studio that stretches. Several times when she does this talking to me I can pick her up wrap her in the sweater on my lap to where she is completely covered by my sweater and she has slept on my lap for 30 mins. And I know she is sleeping I peek in and she is sound asleep. But that is the only place, the only time she will allow this to happen. On her terms....OF COURSE!
I agree that in time it will happen, I am so desperately wanting to cuddle with her, it's hard to wait.:(

I know the feeling. My new one, Azidi, will let me pet her, play, even pick her up. And she will lay beside me on the bed, but NO cuddles or kisses. :(

Hang in there. She is obviously willing to trust you completely as shown by napping in the sweater with you on lookout duty.

Try having guests play with her using wand toys and offering her treats, again on her terms. When they visit, instruct them to ignore her unless she introduces herself. Then get the wand and treats out.

My DSH is shy with people other than me, and I still have work to do with him. He will turn 6 in July.

What a great idea! Her kitty crack just arrived and what has been posted about it is so true. I'll reserve it for her new training session. Kitty does take water from me using a syringe ( I am always concerned she doesn't get enough water) and she will use the loo on command. She's a funny girl!
