Best reference on traits per generation

So does that mean an SBT is considered good because all parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents are all Savannahs?
"Good" in what way? Behavior? Giggling as my F5 SBTs are probably naughtier than my F1s...

SBT is what is considered in the cat world to be "purebred" so the true breed as Witchy says. Before then, they are considered "Foundation" cats of the breed.

This is all good information. I love the knowledge and experience here and knew this was the best place to ask.
I know my F5 had some litter box issues when I brought her home, but I contribute that to the giardia bout we fought. I was just concerned that maybe earlier generations had more issues since they are closer to their wild side and I have yet to find a litter box out on the savannah. :)
I love my Venus' naughty side and want to get her a partner in crime, but I didn't want to jump in over my head either.
F1's would require the same permits and requirements as a Serval here in Indiana when I checked and I'm not ready for all that yet so I'd be looking for an F2 or F3.

My F3 girl is the most devious of my 5 cats, she is also the most loving and affectionate of the bunch. Litter box wise, my F2 twins are the best, my F3 boy, not so much. lmao.

Sure the F2's can be more energetic, and can be quite the handful, though part of that is being only one year old, though my 6 year old F3's can be just as kitten like, at times.

All my cats have their own unique way of demanding love. All tend to follow me around, trip me up, and demand attention. All my SV's are leery of strangers, and take some time to warm up to non family members. The boys will likely not be seen by guest, but will keep an eye out for ya, the girls will allow one to play fetch with them, after the initial hiss, scratch and sniff introductions. lmao while the boys may take days to accept friendship.

All cats seem to have their own unique purrsonality traits that takes a higher accountability than their F generation level, when it come to behavioral and acceptance to others.

There is no guaranty that a F5 will be more sociable than say an F2. The personality, bounding procedure of the individual kitten, and how they develop will be the more telling of the outcome.

This is completely false. You can find litterbox issues in every breed, including the Savannah (as you have experienced) but the earlier generations are not more prone to having litterbox issues than the later generations. I have had four F1s and all have had impeccable litterbox habits.

I Tink that the "naughty " gene starts at the F1 level, is passed onto the. F2 generation, then distributed down the line, manifesting in the SBT Generations, and beyond!!!

I have a question since this little guy is difficult. I need to trim his claws. I know that there is people who say they dont need them trimmed. He does have two trees and does climb and such. But hes caught hes claws in blankets and hes going to hurt himself since everytime that happens, and I try to detach him from whatever it is, he panics and it makes things worse. He does let me play with his paws and back feet, but trying to cut them is near impossible. I could take him to the vet but he becomes very very stressed and will end up defacating everywhere from the stress and makes things even more.
Im sure I might get a negative response here, but is there anything I can give him to calm him enough to get them trimmed. He hates being held and is not a lap cat, yet, I do have hope though, so holding him doesnt work either, and even in a good sleep he will get his back up. HELP!!
