Morning update after 6am medicine administering. Temperature was reduced from last night some seepage from his incision and he is still on IV fluids. I guess I should also point out he is still in ICU and will remain there until there is no longer a clinical need.
I got him to eat an ounce of his raw food with forti flora on it. I'm hoping that will help keep up his intestinal flora. He's not as interested in eating as much as he was the other day, but he's super efficient with food and I'm getting as much food in him as he'd eat in a normal day.
That's all I have for now, another visit in an hour, get another 2 ounces of food in him and then off to work.

Also wanted to add, if you don't ever feed your cat by hand, it's times like these that make you wish you did. Out of necessity at times, Dino gets fed by hand to keep his brother at bay. He's not motivated much by food, and you never know when he is going to eat with the exception of being hand fed and then he'll eat because he loves the attention.

I agree. I have that kind of relationship with Rafiki where she will eat from my fingers when she would otherwise not eat at all. When Jammu feels like snubbing, there is nothing that I can do.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I have a cat in an e-collar and wouldn't you know it she's using the edge of the collar to scratch at her wound - darned cats!
Sounds pretty smart and ingenious to me... Just goes to show you how smart these cats really are...

Dino is back home and doing well. I'm glad that with some level of confidence this episode is behind us. Dooley was happy to see him, and Dino was happy to get a supervised lick on.
It was a long road, I learned a ton and just wanted to say thanks again for all the information, thoughts and prayers.
