My breeder did not registered with TICA, gave GENERIC PAPERWORK, NO FAMILY TREE( unless I agreed to pay extra money). Even thought I sent documentation from my vet that she could not have kittens.....one must be very careful and beware of breeders in it just for the money. Do your investigating!!!
Registering a litter with TICA is fairly inexpensive, getting a pedigree is actually more expensive ($50). I do not get a pedigree on every kitten/litter I produce, although I often already have them on the parents.

Agreed. My kitten buyers get their kitten's registration certificate and can choose to pay TICA additional for the pedigree, but I can send them a 5 generation pedigree from the cattery software program I have...

I have two beautiful golden spotted F3C male kittens available. I'm in Michigan. I've never shipped, but may consider it....

The kittens' info is on my website. Jake and Joey will be ready for new homes early-mid November!

Pam, all of those boys are awesome. I love love love Jake's face. And their daddy is incredible. Is he from your breeding. Incredible spots.

Thanks, Deborah :) Yes, Daddy Harley is from my own breeding. He is so sweet. His pics don't do him justice; it's hard to get good pics when a cat is trying to crawl into your lap for kisses and headbutts ;)

It is true that often what you will get is the "blue slip" which means the litter is registered and you need to pay a small additional fee to individually register your kitten from that litter. but I believe that you need more than the litter and kitten number but also the actual bit of paper. When we register a litter with TICA, they send the breeder these blue slips (so called because they are printed on blue paper), one for each kitten that the litter was said to contain. These forms have spaces to put the chosen name of the kitten and the details of the owner etc. it will have printed on it the necessary info including date of birth of litter and parentage and the breeder name.

I know that nowadays much can be done online...so not sure if a breeder registers a litter online how this works. When I've registered my past couple litters I did do it online but already had the names of the kittens and the owners to enter into the spaces, so the registration certificates were issued to the owners at that time.
