Thank you so much! I just called with no answer. I'm fixing to write a letter requesting refund if she's not able to provide a health agreement and a few other things since I'm truly scared of the purchase at this point with all the negative stuff seen on this forum and on another internet site. I so hope she just refunds me and Ill get Bandit. I will keep things posted here on whether or not she does the right thing. She truly seemed to be a Christian lady and talked about prayer in a few conversations. If she does the right thing I will sure post to that effect or vice versa.

Well...she is certainly not very Christian - I will leave it at that. As for health guarantee...I would not trust her to live up to any agreement she makes...

Depending on which kitten you are supposed to be purchasing, you might also request a refund over misinformation if it was one of those touted as a F2.5 Savannah kitten when it is in reality an F2 Chausie kitten...

I'm very sorry to hear of your previous loss, FIP is a horrible disease. It sounds like you're in a bit to turmoil right now, but however things work out I hope you end up with the perfect kitten(s) to add to your family.

Does she have the polydactyl front paws? The dew claws on the picture the breeder took extend pretty far down. Also, it looks like there could be a very small extra toe on the right between the normal toes and the dew claw.
Yes, she is polydactyl. I am starting a new thread now with everything I could find out about her lineage. Any opinions/knowledge would be helpful and greatly appreciate in helping me determine what she might be considered (more or less). After doing the research I could, I am still confused as to where the polydactyl trait came from with her, or I was simply lied to about who the parents are!

Yes she is polydactyl. Not sure where that would have came from. I'm pretty sure neither of her parents are polydactyl and I don't think any other cat from her lineage (at least as far as I was able to trace) are polydactyl either. So she's either another one of their "miracle" babies or I was lied to about who her parents actually are. I started a new thread "DomesticWildcat.com Lineage Help! Am I really a Savannah?" which contains a "family tree" I made from what I was able to trace. Any help or insight would be much appreciated on this. Or if anyone knows any of the breeders from the lineage who might be able to help me confirm the info would be great.

PayPal said they can't help me since Taran convinced me to use the friends & family option. They told me to call my credit card company. Called credit card company and they stated that I have to contact Domesticwildcats first before they will dispute. My goodness! Sounds timely & exhausting!!!

When I purchased my kitten from them I dealt with Jimmy and mainly and I they sent me an invoice through paypal and we paid it that way. Jimmy seemed to be extremely nice and caring, he even paid the vet bill for my kitten when she ended having a form of coccidia when we received her in the beginning of May. Report their "business" to the Office of the Attorney General in California and also look at the Uniform Commercial Code for California to see if maybe you have any options through those laws.

I spoke with Sue at Amara Savannahs about Bandit. He's such a beautiful boy.
Oh bandit! He's such a cutie! And wyck! And...all the rest. It's dangerous for me to visit her website. I would love to get another Savannah from sue. Many people on this site speak very highly of her and her cats. Best of luck to you!

Bandit, real name Pan, as in Peter, looks so much like his brother Rufio! I'd snag up Lady's second brood, if the wife would let me!!! And Wendy, also known as Idgie, is quite the looker too!! Like sister Tink, she's the bigger of the two. Hmm, may have to call Sue and see what this duo would cost me:roflmao:

I so wish I could get bandit. I truly hate I'm in a pickle. Bandit so reminds me of my first f2. I so miss him.

Given from the other thread they only gave you the papers to the sire's father, then the sire's mother is likely the source of the polydactyl trait... It is dominant so one parent has to have it. And I think the sire's name is "Big Foot"?

There were some breeders producing Jungle Cat hybrids using Pixiebobs for added "wild" which brought in the bobtail and polydactylism found in the Domestic Wildcats kittens. Of course now they seem to also have added a Highlander to get curled ears as well. What trait will they add next I wonder? Not any of those traits are in the Savannah breed standard.
