A person can't really report animal cruelty with 2nd hand information. I was in a situation like this regarding and friend who owned horses. I went through a horse rescue group however AC still had to get a first hand report (me) to make a visit. I know that Taran has kept her location of residence private which presents a problem as well.

You should have encouraged him to report her to the appropriate authorities. When people are aware of animal cruelty and do nothing, they are part of the problem and should also be held accountable imo.

He may not have known what he could do besides check the health certs and refuse a cat with a fake one. Maybe next time Melissa could take in the relevant information and phone number to call or email address or whatever to report these infractions?

Thanks for trying. If you want to share the info with him, you can tell him that we have members here who have received ill cats from her, some with tragic outcomes. Maybe that'll motivate him to try to do something. Cats and people are suffering.

My Savannah Luna came from Taran,she is now 2 plus years old and no health issues. Like others I got her at 8 weeks. I hope she stays healthy for we have formed a strong bond.She is well mannered and loving. I don't take her outside , I started to try and leash train but she doesn't want to go outside. She does. Sneeze on occasion but not on a regular basis. She has never had discharge from nose or eyes so I suspect as said her sneeze is normal. She weighs about 12# and has no litter box issues. I was told she would be big but her size is fine with me. Like the others mentioned she is polydactyl . I guess I am one of the fortunate ones who have purchased from her. I tried to post a current picture but can't figure out how to do so.
