He was gorgeous!!!

Talk to Sue Armstrong as far as an F2 goes...she is part of our breeder's directory! Not sure if Patti has any F2's, but she is in our breeder directory as well!

When I got the kitten he was 14 weeks old. He died approximately 6 months later. At the time F1hybrids was in Kentucky & we drove from Mississippi to pick him up. Michelle was no help at all & said it was my savannahs that got him sick. Luckily, we quarantined him & keep him completely away from the others. As soon as he got home with us his stool was runny and never cleared up. Was a big mess & we did everything we could with the vets to save him. We were devastated loosing him. My kids took it really hard. I have no doubt that Michelle knew. At the time I had asked about having him shipped to me & said that she wouldn't. Make sense because he wouldn't have passed the health certificate to fly.

I am so very sorry, did you have a necropsy done to show the cause of death or how was it diagnosed? I know that often pet owners don't wish to do necropsies but FIP is a disease that is so hard to diagnose, and is commonly misdiagnosed by vets. Nevertheless, it is devastating to have only six months of sickly kitten and lose him like that :-(

I'm glad that your negative experience didn't turn you off the breed!

Sue Armstrong may very well work with you on price. Ryan is a great breeder as well. You can't go wrong with either breeder.

We had test done that determined cause of death. I'm not sure what the test was called.

I absolutely love this breed. The 2 savannahs were so much fun to watch play together. So much more active with 2. We also had 2 bengals that were much more laid back but the savannahs on the other hand were non stop fun. Lol!
