It could be - I was shocked when I heard how easy it was, especially with non-standard representatives of the breed!

I'm looking at purchasing an F2.5 from her. I can see prior posts it's all blank. Is she a good breeder?
There is no such thing as a F2.5. She uses a non permissible outcross and breeds for polydactyl which is not a permissible trait in savannahs. Reputable savannah breeders are dedicated to improving the breed type and temperament and making them physically appear as close to the serval in looks as possible. Several people in this thread have stated their kittens came to them sneezing, sick, flea riddled. I would not purchase from her.

Uh oh. Thank you so much!!! We are looking for an f2-f4 that'll be big and more serval looking.and I was shocked to find a breeder with them so close to me. I guess that explains the amazing price of $1,800. We absolutely love our F5sbt and were just hoping our second one (and last) would look more serval as Koda looks very domestic and is tiny. He is 6.5months and 3lbs 8oz.

It is REALLY the luck of the genetic draw on how big they are. F2 kittens usually are more servally looking but not NECESSARILY larger. Give Koda a chance. He may be small, but he could turn out looking more serval like.
My F5SBT, Kilifi has turned out more servally than when she arrived here at 10 mos of age. Contrarily, I have a beautiful F3C who is only 7 lbs 8 oz at 3 yrs old. And she is not a real thin girl either. She is smaller than my Kilifi. But she is beautiful in her coloring and features.
Waiting to see how my F2 boy turns out. If he does not fly away on his ears. LOL

You can take a look at Jua Ini, Kirembo, Halestone, Wyldthingz, Gattobello. Kirembo and Wyldthingz are in northern California. Jua Ini is in San Diego, Halestone in Orange County, Gattobello in La Mesa.

Oh I love Koda to death. He's just not mine! He's my sons emotional support animal. So no matter how much I love him he is so bonded with my son that I feel left out as Savannah's are my dream kitties. I'm not a dog person I've always been a cat person but you can't even comparah our Koda to a cat or a dog. He's like having a child he's his own little person. He loves to play in the bath tub with my son. He gives kisses. Loves to nuzzle your face. He sits on a chair next to our son during dinner time and eats his food etc. he's amazing. Just not mine :)

Storyteller Savannahs in LA is expecting an F3 litter I believe... it's a Demdar F2 queen and my SV male Zak. I believe they will be very nice babies, but Nikki is a reputable breeder and will not be guaranteeing size.

Generally speaking, if a breeder promises you "big" be very cautious. It's nigh impossible to know from a baby kitten how large they will grow, and some less reputable breeders only care about the sale and not how satisfied you are after they have your money in hand...

Unfortunately no kittens anytime soon here :( I have my own arrival due by the end of the month so have planned a little hiatus from breeding.
