Hey Witchy, do you have herons walking around your backyard? Huh? I've lived in this town for over 40 years and have never seen a heron in a subdivision
Try robofish, all the fun and half the hassle. People should be delighted when wildlife is attracted to their gardens. Means you did good. And don't mess with the herons. Back during my wildlife rehab days, they were responsible for more rehabber deaths than any other animal. They cock those heads back on their necks and shoot those big beaks forward toward humans' eyes with enough force to pierce to the brain. It is not a fun way to die.

Did not know that about herons...interesting. I knew swans are well known for attacking and killing humans who venture too close to their nests or babies, but not herons. They ARE a big bird, so not surprising.....ugh.
