Early this morning, the cat inspection began.
Now that it is up, we can start visualizing where to put the shelves. The overall height is 7' but the standard height is 6' so we are planning on putting a shelf around the outside at the 6' height. We will place alternating shelves on one side to climb up and a ramp on the other. I am sure that the furkids will give us a lot of input!

The catio was pretty easy to assemble - the toughest part was figuring out his handwriting on the pieces. We screwed up several times but the design is quite forgiving. The panels are really lightweight and easy to handle. What is great is that it truly is modular. We ordered it with shade cloth and the cloth is attached to each individual ceiling panel so adding/removing a panel would not mess up the shade for the entire ceiling. If the cats like it now with hardly any "up" places, I can imagine how much they will love the end result.

Linda, that is spectacular!!! We also had trouble with Scott's handwriting ;)

The cats will LOVE it! Mine is on my deck, so I do not really have any green in it, but I do have lots of shelves and they spend hours outside looking at all the action and just sleeping. I bought a water bowl, called a frobo, which has an insert you freeze and then the water stays cold for up to 8 hours...it works well!
