He was neutered today.
they were there for the infuse.

I don't know why the vet didn't take them off, she told me i could do it when i get home.

my guess is they waited too long, and themba got a little bit too angry for them.

Problem is, i can't take him off.
the moment i come near him he runs away, he is very pissed.
He's also still bleeding from the operation.

I'm also afraid to litter going to be stick in all that blood.

He should not still be bleeding and they should have taken them off...I would bring him back.

Maybe i said it wrong, it still a big messy bloody place from the operation.
I think the bleeding stopped but it's full of blood.

I called them and they said i must wait for a while, because he has too much stress now.
if i or he doesn't get it of i should come back tomorrow.

Only i'm not sure it can wait 24 more hours.

Maybe i can take them off if he sleeps with me in bed.

Only it seems dirty to sleep with a cat with his ball-area covered with blood.

I can't say this is a good vet or not,

I just changed because i didn't like the one i use to go to.
My mom recommended me this one.
So far i like the people but i don't know something like this is normal.

On themba : he's home now for 2 hours.
He's a bit pissed, but also a bit playfull and already eat.
He often licks the bandage, if he would bite it i would feel better.

Can you call the vet and let them know he is still bleeding...I did not have an issue like this with any of my males...

It's not like their comes blood out and i have marks anywhere.
Only his fur is full of blood.

I don't want to call now unless i'm sure there is something. i have been calling the vet already a lot today with questions out of impatience.

Well, they should have cleaned him up...if I brought a cat home like this, I would be pretty ticked off...you can try to clean him, if he will let you...and try to get those bandages off...

If his paw is swollen- it's because that vetwrap is TOO TIGHT. It looks too damn tight to me in the picture- he's not a long fluffy furry cat- it shouldn't be that tight. I'm concerned- it needs to come off IMHO.

I only can do it at night. for some reason only when he sleeps with me in bed he is very tolerant of me.
If he sleeps somewhere else i only cat pet him carefully.

Now he has been playing for a while so he doesn't feel bad.

I understand in most cases it ain't a big deal because with my other cats i can take it of easily.
But the reason i went to this vet is because she has experience with savannahs.
Also themba's mother (who is a diffucult one) goes there.
So she should know these things.

But hard to tell how it went there,
I assume this ain't normal policy.
maybe there was some kind of trouble.
