Also the vet told me the bandage doesn't stick to the skin so i can just pull it off.
But themba's paws just look to big for that.

I might be overfeeding because i want him to get distracted.

The vet told me he wouldn't be hungry today.

He already eat 425gram (15oz) of wet food.

Here's the thing- if the vet had handled him like she should have- or the staff- they could have slipped a pair of scissors (they have a blunt blade on the bottom to slide under bandages- heck if I remember the name) under the wrap and snipped it right off.

I'm kinda pissed for you and Themba. I just posted on FB to see if anyone has a trick to getting it off quickly. Maybe some of the feral rescues do.

got any results ?

what would it do when it gets wet ?

In times like this, it's really great you can have a forum so you don't stand alone.

So far thanks all.

Oke this worries me a lot for the moment.

He still has bandage on from the operation.
the vet told me to do it off or she said maybe he bites it off himself.
I have no clue why the vet didn't do it herself.

But themba is very angry now and i can't touch him, he is been licking it but not biting.
His foots are really swollen.
I just called the vet again they say to wait a while because he is still under a lot of stress.
I don't know it is healthy if i wait a day with this, seems like the blood can't flow very good.

Is this something you can wait 1 day with ?

NO, the bandages need to come off! They should only be on for an hour after removal of any catheter after a procedure...

I'm still bussy on it, here is the update.
I got the first of around 1 hour ago.

I've been on it now for 5 hours, right now i'm playing with him on the bed and trying to get the forst piece of the second one loose.
so far no progress on the second one.

Can it be that themba waked up to early and the vet didn't dare to clean him and take the bondage of ?

Knowing how themba can do i can understand the fear.
On me or my brother it has no effect but my father fears him too.
After 2 months he still don't dare to touch him.
Not that it's very bad me and my brother pet him alot, even while playing.
Can you get your brother to help you, you wrap him in a towel and brother fishes out a paw at a time to unwrap the bandage?

Or maybe the clothespin trick? I know it looks weird, but it really does relax them a bit. If you don't have clothespins, binder clips will do in a pinch:

This is the only way I can get Duma to let me cut his toenails, all in one sitting.
