But...I still send pics...and explain about the fuzzies ;) You can usually look at baby pics and tell what their coats will look like as an adult.

About the fuzzies, from what the breeder told me, this fella is going through that period. My quation is how long does it last? from 6 weeks - till 12-14? or?

Hi Rascaldad, i have been searching for a savannah for about 2 months now and every time i contact a breeder inquiring about their kittens I always get the same personality description.
Look for a breeder that describes something specific about that kitten. For example, I would say that all my kittens are high energy troublemakers...but in the last litter I had there was one very sweet boy, he just oozed charisma, one very very naughty girl that was the first to discover everything, one sweet girl that ended up in my lap every morning as I sat at the computer (I raise my kittens in my office) and one that was so like her grandma and greatgrandma in athletic abilities.

wow...great insight...I had a question regarding my soon to be little guy, from this pic...does he look to have more bengal ears.....was hoping for the serval ears...tall and on top...he is a F4A.
He does have a bit of a Bengal look to him, have you asked about what cats are behind him? If he's an A then what is the outcross that was used? That will tell you a lot about the influences coming into play here...

Ears are one of the hardest things for us to predict... looking at the parents can really help, if one has fabulous large rounded upright ears then you have a greater chance of seeing those ears grow and move upwards. If neither have great ears, then you have to hope for something in the heritage to pop out there!

I think you said this kitten was 7 weeks old on another thread... so ears "can" move more and grow more after this age but generally speaking I think I'd want a little more at that age. Attached is a picture of one of my F5SBT babies at 7 weeks of age to compare to.

I agree..I can describe each of my kittens individually - they are all different with very unique personalities...
