Help me with my Sbt Savannah. Please?

Brigitte said exactly what I was going to say. It doesn't sound like the kitten is freaking out at all, just has found a new, fun game to play - sounds like typical behavior to me :)

I call the freak outs, "savannah moments". My cats love to find a throw rug, or a towel, or a blanket , to attack and kick the crap out of it. I am confident that we humans do some things that make the cats wonder just how nuts the humans are!
Ours take it in turns to crawl under the rug or blanket or whatever, and the others jump on the moving bulge. They love doing it!:cat:

Update:
So apparently because I made the comment last night about the poo issue likely being gone, she had to go and do it again lol. No I seriously think the issue today was that I changed her feeding schedule today and she got annoyed at me. I made her wait several hours longer than usual for her first feeding, she wasn't happy. Did a couple of sprits with the enzyme cleaner, if it happens again tomorrow I'll do the whole floor again. She did have them once again in the closet of that room, which I've been checking because her toys end up sliding under that door as well. They were once again covered with litter, so I know she got them out of her litter box and then pawed them across the floor to the closet. Hopefully this will not be a recurring thing but if it is I have cleaner and it's vinyl flooring so not the end of the world.

With fetching and the couch thing she's still doing what she has been doing the last few days which I love. I was trying to coax her onto my lap today but she was having none of it, so I let her be. With the mouse and with her other toys I kept seeing her do the rabbit kicking motion, so I went to pet smart and bought her the actual Kong Kickaroo toy. I bought her one similar to that in the past, but it was a crinkle toy... I have that in her room all the time and although she plays with it sometime she certainly was never overly enthused by it... So I assumed she liked smaller toys that she could easily grip in her mouth. With the kickeroo, wow... she got A LOT of energy out lol. I think it was the catnip in it - because she would go from frenzied attack and rabbit kicking it, to licking it lol. I found it cute.

I'm also pretty sure that the ankle attacking thing is completely over with. She only did it twice last week and both times she didn't use claws or really bite me, she only put her paws around my ankle looked like she was about to. Well tonight both with her catnip toy mouse and her new kong kickeroo, there came times where my leg was between her and her toy (prey! lol) and instead of attacking my ankle like she could have done, she'd rub up against my leg and then go for the toy.

She also tipped over her food/water bowl completely tonight. I'm trying to discourage her from doing that because then she goes without water for a while and I don't like that. I thought I had it in an area where she wouldn't knock it over, it'd been there for months with no issue... I'm wondering if I'm going to eventually have to break down and get a fountain type of drinking thing for her... then again that would make her play with the water even more lol.

Side note: I was so close to getting a dsh tonight at pet smart, the kitty practically broke my heart but she was so cute. But from reading the description she didn't get on well with other cats and also preferred a quiet environment... so my home wouldn't be well suited for her even if she did pass all of the health test's I would have done on her. I half blame you guys for making me even look ;) Hmm maybe when Sabriel is a bit older, and I have her adjusted to upstairs as well, and when I have more money I'll break down and get another savannah. I don't know. First things first, work on the current issues and then dream about the future and eventually plan. :)

Diablo likes to lay on my chest. Mickey wants to be in my arms. As in, me laying down in bed, kitty between me and my left arm, with it wrapped around him or me curled up around him, and my right hand on top of him. Jarvis wants hang out next to me, he comes to cuddle only after we go to sleep and gets up about 5 min after the alarm goes off.
How did it happen? We let them come and go from our bedroom, and our bed. Result? Lots of cuddling.

Yes Neka used to sleep with me sometimes. Here in my house, where I do have a bedroom and a bed, I never actually sleep on the bed. It just feels too hard and I wake up stiff (I'm only 23..). So I sleep on the couch, with a fluffy blanket, no back pain makes me a happier person lol.

I find that our boys like to be in "bed" with us, whether that is cuddling and sleeping in our bed together with a soft blanket or doing the same on our couch.

Well when i lay on the couch sideways she'll lay next to me, she'll walk across me, she'll even sometimes stand on my legs for extended periods of time. But she has yet to sit or lay on me, and I'm not going to push it. I'll try to encourage it if the situation presents itself but every time I'm carrying her and then sit down she wants to jump down and I'm going to just let her - as opposed to forcing her to stay... As for when she lays next to me or is standing on me I try to encourage her in a soft, soothing voice but it's not working. So I'll let her be and be very grateful that she's getting closer by tiny bits each day.

Our boys like to make the decision by themselves.
Give her time, she will come around.
Right now, I have a boy at my feet, another one to my right (resting on the back of the couch), and the third is roaming. She will figure it out.

It sounds like Sabriel is making steady progress. Not meaning to sound like a snob but a rescue such as PetsMart is probably the worst place to look for a kitten companion if you want to avoid diseases, since rescues typically have a high incidence of rhinotraceitis (feline herpes) and other communicable diseases. :(

I don't think that with ANY of my Savannahs I can pick them up and go sit down and expect them to stay on my lap. It can work with my British Shorthair as long as I am petting him but he's a cuddlebug and a completely different type of cat. Some of mine DO come to me and settle on my lap or beside me or under a lap rug when watching TV though...and in bed they all want to be curled up close.
