Do you mean this boy would go back to Anatole's occasionally for stud service? Taking care of and housing an intact, possibly spraying, male cat is a whole 'nother thing than having a spayed or neutered pet...

I offered its up to them. I just wanted them to know I'm flexible. I'll do anything. And yes I spoke with Anatole. Lol I wasn't sure I thought it was a woman. Oops.

how much worse is it compared to a spraying rabbit? I've only caught my bun spraying near his cage. He got my foot once after I cleaned the cage a little too well with vinegar. after he was neutered he still does it for some reason. possibly because of the girl he is bonded with sharing the cage and likes stealing his toys and food

It can be MUCH, much worse! Trust me here. I have had a spraying male rabbit, too, and it is not the same. Stud cat pee and spray reeks. Some intact stud boys' spray can literally curl your nose hairs and seems to infuse into your skin and clothing no matter how much you shower...and others may spray a little or not at all. It's a roll of the dice. I own Sebastion's half-brother who does spray, and it stinks. Chances are good Sebastian WILL spray. Are you willing to keep him in a pen so he does not ruin your furnishings if he sprays? Male cats can also be erratic in behavior due to hormones, and the inevitable in-heat female who comes wandering outside will drive him crazy and yowling if he cannot get to her, and he will try his very best to get outside to her....I don't think this is the life you want for your very first Savannah....

Oh no my neighbor has a farm with at least 10 cats that go roaming all through my yard. I've heard the females yowling a couple times a year. You're right that is bad news.

my male rabbit didn't spray until I had a female around. his urine doesn't stink though because of the food. Never smelled.,the females urine on the other hand smells still. I have stuff I can give them that I can put in water but never had the heart to use. I'm not sure if it could harm them. I've been told its safe for cats and rabbits Etc. but idk. I pride myself on the fact you can't tell I have pets in the house. Maybe I should just hope he doesn't change his mind and hope he works with me on keeping the cat until I can pay in full. 800$ is a little more than I have right now but is worth every penny if it comes with the right cat. I would have paid that much anyways for another adult after shipping

The half-brother, Leo, is a complete sweetheart and lovebug! He came from another breeder, but shares the same father, Flash. I have owned another boy from Anatole who was incredibly well-socialized and very sweet, too. He does a great job socializing his kitties :)

Awesome it's nice to know that I have a breeder with such great reviews right in my own back yard. To think I spent all this time looking and searching other states and there is a good breeder so close to me. it blows my mind. I was also in contact with exotic tails which is also not too far from here. They also have an adult klaus available that they were willing to separate from his pairing for me and they offered to drive him to my home. I'm not so sure yet though. My attention seems to be stuck on Sebastian for some reason. Flash is a gorgeous stud. Those green eyes are piercing,
