He is a beautiful boy! Not sure what your plans on socializing him are once you get him home, but I would suggest keeping him in one small room to start with (preferably a room where you intend to keep his food, water, and litterbox permanently) until he starts to adjust. Remember, he is a tiny little kitten and your home will seem like a huge, foreign kingdom to him. He won't know where the litterbox is and will potentially get lost easily in a new environment - don't want accidents to occur.

So one step at a time - get him comfortable with you - and one small room, then slowly expand his territory every few days (or as he seems ready) until he has free rein of the home. Realize that moving him to a new environment may cause a bit of a setback given his history and personality, but just be patient and gentle with him and he will undoubtedly bond with you. It really helps that you have been visiting with him already a few times at the breeder's home.

That's the plan.
He will start his journey in the smallest bedroom.
So i can be there at night also.
Food, litter box, water, toys, etc will be provided.
After he has bounded with me and he gets confident i want to move him to the bathroom.
I know it might be a bit of a shock to move again, but it's the best way in this household for the socializing.
It is again a small room that will have everything provided.
From here he can hear and smell the other cats. (bathroom is located next to the kitchen)
I can't sleep there at night, but more people will pass by.
Once confident again, he can go into the kitchen and by and by get introduced with other cats, 1 at a time.
After that living room. Later cat proof garden and my bedroom.

I will be putting extra litterboxes all over the house.
The small room where he starts upstairs he can't come after. only in 1-2 years when my brother moves out.

Experience suggests Chimola! You will soon understand.

I like the name themba the most.
But i love the meaning of chimola.
Everytime he breaks something i can have a good laugh with the way i named it.
All the blame on me.

Anyway i to decide quickly for the papers.
Themba
chimola
and tau
are my top 3

Honestly- I'd start him out in the bathroom since you are going to move him there anyways.

the good part then is that i don't have to move him.
the bad part is that i can't spend the same amount of time in the bathroom.
And he might be scared from people taking showers the first days, the washing machine and so on...

I have been doubting about doing this.
Both have their +points and -points.

Another idea.

My cats aren't allowed upstairs. (there are the bedrooms, only mine is downstairs)
Maybe it would be good when the kitten is used to the bedroom that I give him full access to the upstairs.
Then when i introduce the other cats i can let the cats come to his territory instead of letting the kitten on there territory.

Maybe a better idea then the bathroom ?
Only lots of work making the upstairs kitten proof. but possible.

Oke shopping is over.

I bought food :
10kg of one day chickens
1kg of mice.
Other raw food comes later, i need to order that.
In meantime i still can buy some chicken at the store.
Then i also bought few cans of wet food with high meat %
And a bag of kitten kibble from royal canin.

Then i also bought everything for the kitten room.
Did i forget something ? (check picture)
I also had a stick with a feather that i bought few days ago but don't remember where i put it.

The cage is an xxl dog cage.
I gonna put him into there for a few hours before he can go into the room.
There is place for the litter box, scratching post, food and water and sleeping spot in there.
I can also put him in there when i introduce him to my other cats, and later i can use it for the time-out zone when the bathroom isn't accessible .
