At the daytime he stopped.
Now he just started again, only few times.
I looked and he is sleeping.
He meows in his sleep ! never saw that before.

Now an update : 95% of the time he stay laying in the cage.
today i has been out 2 times and then i can play with him.
But still can't touch him.
He don't trust me yet but for play he dare to come close.

I had a little Kitty tent that I put my daughters little stuff animal in and he loved that! I would find him in the middle of the tent snuggled up. He would sleep with my daughter at night. He'll come around

he's meowing again all the time, he can be really really loud.

i'm sure my neighbours can't sleep.

LOL brings back memories ... I just read what you wrote to my hubby and he said " Oh boy, that sound just like KEEBA" it was bad! Does your boy try to get out to the room too? like scratching and meow at the door?

Yes he does !

Jumping at the door knob too.

Right now, he's still meowing very loudly.
i never heard a cat meow so loud.

He started 9PM it's now 6 Am here.
I'm really really tired of it.
Last night i sleep with him untill he stops.

He's most definitely missing his home and his sibling... think of this from his point of view, this is all very scary. Have you tried wearing earplugs? He's just going to have to cry himself through this adjustment period I think...very hard on you I know :-(

Earplugs might work for my neighbours.
Not if i'm in the same room. i don't even think it would help for my brother in the room next to me.

My own bedroom is very far off, so there i could have silence but i rather stay with him.
But this night and the next night i gonna sleep in my own bedroom.
I need to get productive for work.
I will join him back at the weekend at night.

He started yesterday at 9PM and stopped at 7AM.
The same time as the night before.

I understand it's a hard time for him, but no sleep makes me so frustrated.

With moments he goes louder then now :

Yesterday he let me pet him when tired, and uses my hand as a pillow.
We also played alot together.
I thought i made a huge step but today i looks more angry then before.
Not only hiss at me but also starts growling.

Sorry to hear, but it will get better. With Chongo I had the 5 hour ride home where he would cry until he fell asleep. The only way he would stop is if I reached into the crate and scratched his head with two fingers. Once home, he was pretty good, although never wanted to be left unattended in his quarantine room.

A couple month later after an injury, he needed to be crated for 8 weeks. He cried a ton, every waking moment when you weren't interacting with him. It was definitely tough, I spent the entire time sleeping on the floor with him, often getting awakened 3 or 4 times a night with claws in my head.

What I can say from my experiences, is it will get better. Chongo is very well adjusted to life outside the crate after his injury and after he was released from quarantine. It was certainly painful at times, but he always knew he had a friend and those days created a lifelong bond for the two of us. My discomfort was never as bad as his, as he was the one missing his brothers and sisters, then also nursing his fractured hip.
