Thanks John. Been some pretty tuff times. Jax seems okay other than he won't get real close to me. I think I smell like the vets office. Lol

Thanks Rafiki. I've never been hurt so bad. We are done riding. I came way to close to meeting my maker. 1 Harley totaled in the wreck, the other goes up for sale in the spring.

That was such a trauma !!!! Though I love the thrill of motorcycles, I'm wary of them ever since I found out about my husband having a close call - even though it happened years ago, long before we met!

I'm glad to know you are on the road to recovery. Sending thoughts and prayers your way.

Wow - I know it probably didn't seem like it at the time, but is sounds like there was an angel riding on your shoulder watching over you. So glad you survived and are now healing. I'm also glad that Jax accepted you right back into the fold - cats are awesome beings!

Hi folks. I figured I should give everyone an update. Rhonda went back to work last week. She's doing pretty good considering. I had major bone graft surgery on November 1st. They took marrow from my right Femur and replaced the 4 inches of my left femur that was gone. The surgery itself went well but unfortunately I ended up with infection in the left leg. As infection will destroy the bone graft, they immediately put me on some of the nastiest intravenous antibiotics there is. So here I've been since November 7th stuck at home with IV s stuck in my Pic line. No fun. I go back on the 15th to see if I can get rid of the IVs. If so I still have another 4 months of pill form antibiotics. I go back on the 22nd for x rays to see if the graft is still there. If so he will watch for growth. After he sees growth I will have one more surgery to clean up my knee as it doesn't bend near enough. It's been quite the experience! Lol! As far as Jax goes, he doesn't have much to do with me. He will give me a drive by petting but as I'm chair ridden I can't go see him. He has to come to me. He's such a s--t!
