Kitten Eating Problems

Who is the breeder and why did they let the baby go at 9 weeks? That is awful young.

Did you call the breeder and ask for advice-- frankly, I'd do that at the same time I was posting a message on a message board.

Yes the breeder has been in contact with us the entire time he also seen the vet yesterday. And she said he is perfectly healthy. Simply posted to get alternate opinions to get the most info! Just cause one person says one thing dosnt mean there isn't other routes was our thinking!

I'm glad you've been in touch with your breeder too-- nothing wrong with multiple opinions.

Thought so but the vibe on this post so far has seen more judgmental and critical than helpful. Lol

Not judgmental and critical of you Allan. Some folks here believe it is detrimental to a kitten's overall development to be sent to their forever home prior to 12 weeks. Deprives them of learning important social skills from sibs and adult cats and their immune systems are still fragile.

Your baby is beautiful. I hope you keep posting pics as he grows.

Well our breeder doesn't do the momma cat socialization he is a human imprint and has been cared for by humans since two days old. Including feeding and cleaning every couple hrs 24 hrs a day. And we have noticed a huge difference between previous cats to him he is very confident and not scared of people at all and adjust instantly to all kinds of situations. He is super social very loving and not aggressive.

Okay, so I'm guessing your breeder is Betsy?

What gen is your baby? I can't tell from the pics. I thought she left babies with Momma and handled them/bottle fed them as well as Momma caring for them? I could be wrong-- it's been a while since I've chatted with her.
