Yeah, I have a big jar of digestive enzymes. I was adding it to her food, but it didn't do enough :(

Thanks for the reiki! I used some during her exam lol it seemed to calm her down a lot. She was a super star when she got her catheter put in. The vet tech that did it is young (my age) and is amazing as well, so that helped.

Oh Kristin, so sorry to hear about the relapse on both your fur and feather babies! Cyber hugs to you! Hang in there and think positive.

@Bekki Bless you...I was a bundle of anxiety and nerves last night, and all of a sudden my anxiety slipped away and I was nice and calm. I was even able to sleep! Zeddie says thank you also, she thought it was me sending it, but I told her it was you and she was like "wow! That is so nice of her!"

Zeddie is home now...she pooped a bit at the vet last night. She took out her own IV during the night o_O and got another enema this morning. She is looking better...still not up to speed but she isn't as lethargic. She is still eating like a fiend, which eases my worry. The vet gave me her cell number in case things go south again.

Still haven't gotten a call from the Avian vet yet, but we are planning on picking Oli up this afternoon. Finger crossed.

The avian vet called yesterday to say the testing wasn't all in, so they kept Oliv(h)er for another night. We haven't received another call yet. I have to say, I am relieved she is staying with them right now, because I just don't have the ability to be watching to very sick babies closely right now.

Zeddie has perked up, and has energy...but still hasn't made a bowel movement on her own since Thursday. She did go on Friday night after her enema, but it was quite small. The enema yesterday did nothing. She is still eating well...she didn't like the poop dinner I made her last night though :p Pumpkin, gastrointestinal canned, digestive enzymes and lactulose.

I work tomorrow, so she will be coming with me. Luckily I am now on reading week, so I don't have to be skipping school to monitor behaviour. Friday I was in a complete panic after 8 hours away and skipped my last class to rush home and take her to the vet.

I have the vet's phone number, but I just don't know at what point I should be calling. *Sigh* I am hoping Oliv(h)er is staying at the vet another night. Otherwise I will have 2 babies coming to work with me. She loves the vet, so I am not concerned about her being out of sorts from not being home.

If she doesn't like the taste of pumpkin, you can try Metamucil. If the constipation isn't caused by the usual culprit, dehydration, what does the vet think may be causing the problem? If the condition persists, I assume the vet will look for other causes such as renal issues or megacolon?
