Good luck with your exams, and I hope Zeddie starts feeling better once you're home with her more!

I'm just getting up to speed....Wow, Kristin, I'm so sorry for all the stress you and your babies are going through! You've had enough veterinary issues to last several lifetimes. So glad to hear that Olivher is doing better...she's a beautiful girl!! Praying that Zeddie is healed soon! One thing is for sure, they are very lucky to be loved by you.

*Hopefully* this is the last health update on Zeddie.

No vomit in a week and a half (knock on wood), and she is on a lamb elimination diet. BUT.....she grew!! All of a sudden everyone started telling me Zeddie looks completely different. Longer legs, more angular face, weight gain but you don't see it...so MAYBE all this drama was over not eating enough during a growth spurt. Weighed her today and she is 10 lbs (with her harness on). She was 9.5 lbs (with her harness on) last time she was at the vet.

Zeddie will be 2 on May 19th. Is it normal for them to all of a sudden grow like that? I wasn't expecting that at all. Anyways we are going on vaca together next weekend, so hopefully our good fortune continues. Thanks for all the healing thoughts and support!

Duma had a similar growth spurt I can't remember if it was just before or just after he turned 2 in January. He's still not very heavy but his limbs are SOOOOO long and even his torso got longer, Desi is a 25lb big boy but Duma at around 10-11lbs is at least as tall. Much taller if you include his ears ;)

So glad Zeddie's stomach has settled down finally!

That sounds about right Kristin. John Popp could chime in about the weight as he is getting a good set of data. Zeddie will keep filling out for another year. I'm not food restricting the SV's around here. They are not gaining any weight. Other cats I've had, packed it on like a human.

Happy to hear that Zeddie is back in good health. All of mine had a growth spurt at 2 yrs. Surprised me too because it was a noticeable amount of growth in height and length. Zeddie is graduating from teenager to full adult.
