New Kitten came home with me today.

Party time!
All the parasites are GONE!
We also got the last of the vaccines other than raibies and we will do that one in 2 weeks.
I have gotten into the lets not over do things mode after that one reaction Bella had. I
still have to also get his chipping done. Weight today was 4 Lb 15oz

It seems that Bella already started the party by jumping the gate a few times into Xander's
space. So as part of his new status I took him down and showed him the BIG cat box. He also
got to play around downstairs for a while. I think that Bella calls the game hiss and swat. But she
is being nice about it and just letting him know the boundaries. He seems to think that Bella wants
to play games. I think she will come around quickly now that he can be out and about.

I spent some time making sure that he knows where tha cat boxes are and today is is out and about for a while.

I have a photo I wanted to show you. The first one is Tetsu and the second one is Mokkun.
I was surprised to see how much Xander looks like they did when they were younger.

Bella is beautiful!!! Xander is a riot. I am also having a challenging time getting my older cat Kebi to accept Akila. At this point allKebi has to do is walk by Akila and Akila runs away. Will Akila ever not be fearful of Kebi?

It can take time for then to get used to each other.
I am working with Bella on allowing Xander to join the clam. She is still a bit hissy.
But he wants to play with her and he is letting him get closer every day.

You might try using play time to get both engaged with something at the same time.

Well things are looking good.
Bella has quit the hissy fits and is not active playing with Xander. She is also back to sleeping in my room or out in the house over night.
Xander still has to skeep in the bathroom over night. But now that I don't have to watch the interactions between the tao of them things
are settling down very nicely. The only other reason for not leaving him out at night is I am not sure if he will stay out of the plants as of yet.

How did you teach Bella not to eat your plants? I have to keep mine outside because Ninja refuses to leave them alone, lol.

To tell the truth I found plants she does not like and are safe if a cat eats them.
I also get her a box of wheat grass that she can abuse to her hearts content.
I found that if I get the organic stuff meant for people at the store I can save a
lot over the stuff at the pet store. They want almost $5 at the pet store and the
stuff I get in produce is only $1.99 and holds up well. Just water it now and then.
That is if Bella has not pulled it out of the pot and dropped it into the water fountain.
