Isis is so nonchalant in that second video. Exposes her belly in supplication, but moves ever closer. Smart little cutie pie.

You can see there is a small problem with Isis adjusting to Anubis, because if she gets any bigger she will have to use him as a mattress. :big grin::roflmao:

To go along with the above photo, here's a video that lead up to snuggling. They have taken quite a liking to one another as I suspected they would. Anubis is less playful with her than I would have thought primarily due to one factor: size!

He's so much bigger than her he gets the playful urges and wants to grapple with her but there's this hesitation like he thinks better of it and eases back.

You know that friskiness that starts by trying to wrap an arm around a neck, or tripping the other by swiping at the back legs while they are walking. But he doesn't follow through.

Over the weekend, they were sunbathing on the floor and she will lay behind him, grapple his neck, and gently rabbit kick his back. He just wiggles a little, tries to nibble at her, or might just lay back down looking a little annoyed but otherwise not particular about moving. :p

That looks to be the alternative universe of cat/kitten introductions. You are quite the lucky guy as nothing that we experienced after a 3 week quarantine and slow introductions came close to resembling this.

It's hilarious when she tries to play cuddle kitty with Ra and he's curled up sleeping. At first he thinks it's his brother and then he smells her and goes wide eyed, nervous, swatting (no claws) with a nibble and if she doesn't jump away he will.

Just a few minutes ago, I heard Anubis squealing while trying to mount her but she's just too quick and small so she can wiggle away without too much effort. The one time he almost succeeded was on the middle level of the bigger cat tree and I walked into the room and spooked them both. This will be the third attempt in a weeks time. Not only are they getting along, they are "getting along!" :in love:
