Poor Paz. Last thing he needs when he's under the weather is getting slapped around by the resident diva. Transference of aggression is normal albeit not pleasant to witness. When the time comes to do introductions, let the boys settle in first. Perhaps if she sees Yeti and Paz getting along, she'll be more agreeable to sharing her space.

Taxidermy is an option, tequila helps too.

Bloodbath.

Yuki got my face again as I was carting her dainty self to the bathroom. She was trying to twist around to climb over my shoulders and got claws into my face instead.

My friends often remark that I should consider plastic surgery to help differentiate my face from my backside. Nah, I tell them, I have cats. ;)

Paz is slowly starting to recover his voice, though there remains a way to go before he is normal. At least I have not detected a fever in a while.

Meanwhile Yeti is behaving even more like a dog. He runs to greet me when I come to the safe room and wants to be picked up and cuddled. He has also started the head grooming after watching Yuki do so from day one.

Hello Lori,
I'll let you know how things go with the toys and jackets once I get the ringworm situation resolved. I already know the one bunny batter that I released into the wild went over very well and now I cannot find it. Paz seems to have secured it in his secret stash, probably with the dozen mouse toys that also went missing and turn up periodically. :)

Yuki of the Strong Will: A story of cat medication and human determination.

Despite not objecting to the taste of the liquid medication, Yuki protests and fights being dosed more out of a determination to do her own thing. Aside from the night I ended up wearing half of her dosage, she is getting the daily requirement.

Yeti is becoming more and more passive about it and while I kept a hand on him last night, I didn't have to scruff him like previous times. I think he is beginning to enjoy the fishy taste.

I make sure to praise them both for taking the medicine after it is down the hatch and they seem to quickly forget the whole issue, although Yuki will keep arms length for a couple minutes just to see if I close the bottle and lay the syringe down.

Fingers crossed that the combination of oral, topical, and shampoo medications will knock this stuff out. :)

Thanks Lori,
I will definitely be ordering some of their stuff. I am also going to order some tea tree oil soap. I used to use tea tree oil to protect fish eggs from fungus when I was breeding various fish.

I'm starting to get itchy, but it must be psychosomatic since I have no signs of it showing and the itching is periodic. Usually when I think about ringworm.

can I ask you a strange question - do you remember the Russian... If Yes - then I will send a very interesting fragment of the book by Walter Zapashny - known in the world tigers tamer ... he had such problems with tigers and he decided these problems in the USSR, when there was nothing!!!;) This fragment will be in Russian, of course this is a piece of art literature, but it is the old method:)
