Now Presenting: Yuki and Yeti

Awww Tort, I'm so sorry that you're still battling the ringworm. It is exhausting tending to animals when they need medical attention. Are you able to give yourself some down time? Maybe chill with Paz for a few nights to give yourself a break from the Dynamic Duo and to give Paz some undivided attention? Could be that he's feeling a bit churlish because he senses that you're feeling rung out and shortly to be anemic. He just might need his daddy all to himself for a bit.

After treating and feeding tonight, I declared it Paz night. He is just chilling on the bed next to me. He is definitely behaving slightly outside his norm regarding other cats and I suspect it is him being depressed over San passing away and Dickens being rehomed, as well two strangers getting a lot of attention.

I received the foggers and sprays from Fagan. I think I might use the foggers tonight and reorder more for later. Perhaps reducing the ringworm spores in the environment now will help with recovery and then I can hit it again when there is sufficient recovery. Hopefully that will knock it out.

Wish me good fortune because luck can be both good and bad. :)

Yes, that is what I would do too. If you are not eliminating the spores in the room, you will just keep fighting the same battle.

I ordered more foggers so that I can treat the house multiple times throughout the acclimation process. I'll be changing the furnace filter as well since it is likely some spores have gotten that far with air currents and whatnot.

Also got some think time in the car earlier and was going over in my mind personality traits of the cats. That's when it hit me that Yuki has such a huge personality that it makes her seem more like a big cat, not a domestic, despite her very friendly demeanor. Kinda cool.

. . . like a scarey Halloween, for cats.

Let me see, here is a list in order of the night so far.

Put the cats in carriers.
Paz begins crying as usual.
Put carriers in car.
Activate foggers.
Begin drive.
Paz completely empties bowels in carrier.
Continue very smelly drive.
Be thankful new car has windows that work.
Paz continues crying and Yuki, who had previously never complained during trips joined in to form the cat chorus from hell. They even tried to be louder than each other.
Tolerate noise as long as can, then turn on an oldies, '50s station. doowopmeowbop
Cats actually quiet down after a few songs and let me enjoy some old music.
Get home after foggers have been done.
Begin bath cycle with Paz von Crappenstein.
Clean out carrier.
Release Paz and put carrier in hall.
Continue bath cycle with Yuki.
She isn't fond of it, but doesn't eviscerate me or draw blood.
Release her into the house to see if anything goes crazy.
Complete bath cycle with Yeti.
If he could speak english he would sound like Gollum "We hates the bathins!"
Release smeagol, er Yeti into house to continue experiment.
No incidents to report so far. Yeti and Yuki are curled up between my legs grooming and Paz periodically checks in to see what is up.

PS - my bed, much like my head is somewhat wet from the soggy kitties. That's ok, they earned the right this evening.

Now I just need to monitor progress for another hour before putting them back in the safe room for the night.
