I researched HSUS and am no longer a supporter of them after seeing the facts. I joined HSUS after Hurricane Katrina and saw on them on the news rescuing pets also app. 2 miles from my house was until recently L&L Exotic animal farm, between me and them is woods and farm land, at dusk I could go out on my deck and hear big cats roar and this was every day ,it didn't bother me until a friend who was Copley tsp. zoning comm. at the time she told me to be carful around my house due to the rotted wood fence posts holding the big cats and there would be an escape, here is my proof
http://911animalabuse.com/l-a-l-exotics/ my friend tired for years to get this shutdown and the link above is a very watered down version of the real truth. I have driven past L&L and seen a female lion in a chain link dog run with no water in the summer sun later the day she was still there and it was to small for the skinny lion to stand up in. at the time when I joined HSUS I thought they were doing more good than harm , the lion in the dog run still stays in my mind , [ I did call the police and the lion got water] Copley Police did kill a tiger at this site due to a attack . we have 2 savannah cats and spoil them to no end .
