Prayers and good thoughts are needed

I was thinking about that last night as well Per, I hope the vet is able to put Zuri on antibiotics that are safe for the kittens, because I don't think Paige wants to be tube/bottle feeding these kittens until they're weaned!
Basically any antibiotic will affect the kitties, the good news is that you only need a few drops of lactobacillus-stuff a few times daily, tube-feeding is not needed. Hope all goes well with all the "Paiges"!

Hi All,

Thank you all so much for all the prayers and good thoughts and support...I appreciate it more than you can know...I don't know if I could have gotten through all of this without all the prayers and support...Shelby is/was my lifeline...just talking to me and supporting me and helping me...I am so thankful for Shelby and to Shelby for always being there when I needed her.

Patti, Lori, Trish and Sue A...were also always there when I needed to talk or had a question or felt so depressed as were Brigitte, Kristine and Kelly..I can't thank them enough...I can't even really put into words how much I appreciate how everyone supported me at such a difficult time...

And thank you so much to Kathy McGown, who offered to foster some of the kittens for me...that meant so much to me.

And I knew the rest of my friends were there for me as well...Cynthia, Pam, Josie, Per, etc...please forgive me if I left anyone out...and thank you so much George for all your offers to help - that also meant a lot to me.

We did lose one kitten before Zuri was taken to the emergency animal hospital - I was devastated but had to just concentrate on saving the rest...RIP little one...

I will be back as usual on Monday and will check in on the weekend...I just wanted to thank you all for everything...

You know you are very welcome for anything I was able to help with. Sometimes things can get off course for a bit and no breeder is exempt;>)Everything will be fine and a lesson in the not so easy breeding problems that pop up from time to time. You got a crash course in kittening and came through with flying colors;>)

It's great to see you posting again - I know that means you have finally gotten a little sleep and life is on its way to becoming normal again :)

Zuri seems to be back to normal and I pray all stays as is...she is in everyone's business, which is the way she is and that is a good sign. She is also back to being a very picky eater, so it is a challenge to get her to eat the high calorie diet she is supposed to be on...she even ran on her cat wheel for a minute or two ;)

The kittens are growing - gaining weight every day...I have a guess on sexes, since I was caring for them exclusively for 3 days, but I will leave that guess for another time...

So glad to hear Zuri back to her old ways and took up where she left off with kittens. Whew! But sorry to hear one didn't make it. RIP to him/her. Hopefully everything will go smoothly from here out. Anxious to see pics and cute stories about them but I will patiently wait ;)
